Solar Panel AFTCO will now offer it's popular line of Taper-Tip aluminum gaffs in a lustrous, black anodized finish. The black anodized gaffs are just as durable as AFTCO's popular gold anodized models, and they are available in all of the popular sizes. AFTCO will also offer the flying gaff handle and tag stick in the same black finish.

If you're planning to build a new home, you can use some of the bigger aspects of building green. used or recycled building materials, you can lessen the impact that you have. You can also choose environmentally friendly insulation like recycled newspaper or cotton. Try using as many materials as you can that are refurbished and not new. Wind Energy The AFTCO gaffs and tag stick are all fitted with soft but rugged black grips, and they have special molded vinyl butt caps to prevent deck scarring and to seal out corrosive moisture. The gaff hooks are fashioned from stainless-steel rods, with easy-to-sharpen triangular points. Hook diameters are <-, 5/16-, 3/8- and 1/2-inch and are offered with hook throats of 2, 3, 4, and 5 inches. The tag stick comes standard with the NMFS-metal-style tag applicator and is available with the TBF-nylon-style applicator.

Power Greene SB2 Storabutts

Am Greenpower AFTCO has just introduced an aluminum rod-butt "system" for regulation rods and stand-up rods called the SB2 Storabutt. The new AFTCO SB2 Storabutts are designed for chair and stand-up applications where a two-piece butt is needed. Storabutts differ from AFTCO's one-piece Unibutts in that they are ferruled fore and aft of the reel seat. This allows the rear-butt section to be removed or interchanged without removing the reel from the rod. Double lines and wind-on leaders can now be left on the rod for storage and convenience.

They are available in silver anodized finish, all black or black/gold "hard-coat" anodized finishes. All of the Storabutts are constructed of the finest 6061T6 marine-grade aluminum.
