Oil Prices Spur Postal Service to Replace 90% of Fleet With Alternative Fuel Vehicles

The overriding fact remains that for whatever reason, many will take a stab at going it alone. Alternative Fuel Vehicles may be acting from neurotic point of view, and such will likely be very happy in Green, Solar & Wind Power.

There are two main schools of thought when it comes to oil supplying. There are those who believe that oil supplies are strictly limited and that we have passed the peak and will soon (40 to 60 years) run out of oil with which to power our vehicles. The U.S. Postal service is looking to move away from petroleum based fuels as quickly as possible since, as Environmental Leader reports, a 1-cent increase in a gallon of fuel costs them an additional $8 million annually.
